Migrating to Arbyn

A migration is a project.Let's make it a conversation.

Book a call and we will go through your current tool with you: what is worth bringing across, what you can safely leave, and what Arbyn already knows without being told. It reads your catalog, your policies and your real shipping rates from your Shopify store, so most of what you would normally rebuild by hand, you do not have to.

Free to start. 150 AI conversations a month on the $0 plan, so you can try it before we ever speak.

The real blocker

You are not staying because your helpdesk is good.

You are staying because leaving looks expensive in weeks, and risky in public. Both of those are worth answering honestly, including where the answer is uncomfortable.

The migration will eat my week

There is no migration. Arbyn installs from the Shopify App Store and reads your store itself. The only work outside Shopify is one forwarding rule in the email client you already use.

The AI will say something mad to a customer

Not before you have read it. Arbyn drafts every reply and holds it for you. You decide when it starts sending on its own, and you can stop it in one click at any time.

My team loses everything it built

Not everything, and we are not going to pretend nothing is lost either. There is no automatic importer, so on the call we go through what is actually worth carrying across and what you can safely leave. Most of it turns out to be answers Arbyn already reads from your store.

What is your current tool costing you?

Pick the tool you are on and drag your monthly conversations. These are their published rates, not our estimates of them. Arbyn is the flat line.

At 500 conversations, Arbyn saves you up to $491 every month: Arbyn Growth at $59 against their $550.

Gorgias: their own published bundled Helpdesk plus AI Agent price, read on gorgias.com/pricing in August 2026, which is $40, $90, $550 and $1,430 a month at their 50, 300, 2,000 and 5,000 ticket tiers. On top of that, their published $1.50 fee for each automated interaction past the allowance that plan includes (30, 30, 190 and 530). Every rate here is theirs. The assumptions are ours: that each conversation is one ticket, and that AI Agent fully resolves 30% of them. One caveat we can see but cannot control: the AI Agent half of their bundled figure moves with an automation-rate assumption their page loads with, so a store with a different rate will see a different number on their side. Gorgias meters voice and SMS separately, and neither is counted here.

What actually happens

An install, a forwarding rule, and a toggle.

That is the list. There is no phase two hiding behind it.

Install from the Shopify App Store

One permission grant, and it is a broad one: Arbyn writes to orders, customers, returns, discounts and gift cards, because it does not only read your store, it acts in it. Read the grant screen properly. We would rather tell you that before you click it than after.

Point your support email at Arbyn

Skippable

You keep your address. Arbyn gives you an inbound address and you add one forwarding rule in Gmail, Outlook or whatever you already use. There is no mailbox password to hand over and no DNS to change. A store that only wants live chat skips this entirely.

Turn the chat widget on

One link opens your theme editor with the Arbyn app embed already switched on. Arbyn checks the theme itself rather than trusting a toggle, because a toggle on its own is a false green light.

We do not publish a setup time

Other tools will tell you ten minutes. We have not measured a number we would stand behind, so we are not printing one. What we can tell you is structural, and it is the part that matters: no knowledge base to write, no tickets to migrate, no engineer to book.

No knowledge base to write

Arbyn learns your store from your store.

Not from your old tickets. This is what makes the short version possible: its answers come from the live store, not from a help centre somebody wrote two years ago and never updated.

Your full catalog

Every product and every variant. Titles, descriptions, options, collections, media, metafields, price and compare-at, inventory, and whether a variant is actually available to buy.

Your policies, word for word

Refund, privacy, terms and shipping, exactly as written in your Shopify admin. Not a summary you then have to correct.

Your real shipping rates

The actual delivery profiles, not the prose on your shipping page. What delivery costs, and where the free-shipping threshold really sits.

Your pages, blogs and live discounts

Published only, so a draft page can never become something Arbyn tells a customer.

Your orders, the moment a customer asks

Arbyn reads the order live from Shopify when it is asked about. There is no second copy of your order history sitting in another system going stale.

It re-reads the store on a schedule

Ingestion re-runs on a cron, and a product change syncs straight through the products webhook, so a price you changed this morning is not answered with yesterday's.

The switch, without the fear

It drafts before it sends. You hold every switch.

Nobody sensible hands their inbox to an AI on day one. Arbyn is built on the assumption that you will not.

It starts in observe mode

Arbyn drafts a reply to conversations as they come in and puts them in front of you. You send them, edit them, or throw them away. It does not go live because a week passed. It goes live because you flipped it.

A confidence threshold you set

Below your bar, Arbyn does not send. It hands the conversation to a human with the full context attached, rather than guessing in your brand's name.

Money waits for you

Cancel an order, issue a refund, apply a discount, send a gift card, reship an order. Arbyn prepares the action, you approve it with one click, and then Arbyn performs it in Shopify and confirms it to the customer. The approval step is a deliberate control, not a missing feature. Full autonomy there is a beta authorization, in development.

A refund ceiling

Set the most Arbyn can refund. Above it, the whole conversation comes to you.

A kill switch

One click in the dashboard and Arbyn stops. Not a support ticket, not a downgrade. A button.

Everything it does is logged

Actions Arbyn takes on an order are written to that order's Shopify timeline, so you can audit it in the place you already look.

After you switch

The bill stops moving.

This is the part that pays for the switch. Every tool below meters something, so the better your store does, the more you owe. Arbyn does not.

No per-ticket fee

Not per ticket, not per resolution, not per AI reply. The meters that make a good month expensive are simply not running.

No per-seat fee

Add your whole team. It does not change the price.

$0, $59 or $99 flat

Arbyn Starter is free, with 150 AI conversations a month. Arbyn Growth is $59 a month for 500. Arbyn Agent is $99 a month for unlimited, or $990 a year. Every feature is on all three plans, and reaching your allowance never costs you anything.

Switching from

We have done the homework on your current tool.

Every comparison below is built from that vendor’s own published pricing. If yours is not here, bring it to the call and we will go through it with you.
